OUR SERVICES

Based in Lewes, East Sussex since 2014, we at Kabak bring the flavours, colours and warmth of Middle Eastern cuisine to your special day. Whether you're planning an intimate gathering, a corporate event or a wedding, we will make your day even more special with our vibrant feast of dishes. Our food will lend itself very well to your event as not only does it look spectacular, but it caters for all diets and tastes, and we will tailor our menus to precisely meet your needs. We also run pop up stalls to serve our Middle Eastern street food at taprooms, pubs, woodlands and vineyards.

DISHES AND SERVING STYLES 

​We typically serve our food meze-style, the traditional Middle Eastern way of serving many different dishes, some warm, some cold to make up a vibrant feast. The joy of this style is that there are so many flavours to experience, and whatever your dietary needs, there will be dishes for you. Our service is relaxed, informal and friendly.

There are three ways you can enjoy our food. The most popular are sharing bowls, where we bring our beautifully engraved metal bowls of food to each table for the guests to help themselves to. This is a friendly and fun way of dining. Alternatively, we can offer a self-service buffet, which allows us to charge you a lower price. Or, you can go full festival-style, and we'll put our decorated gazebo up to serve a street food feast to your guests. Get in touch with us to discuss your requirements.

We had Alex and the Kabak team cater for our wedding in Lewes back in June, and it was fantastic! We were very lucky that choosing Kabak for our catering was the first thing we managed to sort out. As soon as we went for a tasting session one year before, we knew straight away this is what we wanted - we didn't bother looking into anything else. We absolutely loved the array of dishes and the amazing flavours - I would put the Zhoug sauce on everything and anything! Alex and his team were very friendly and were great on the day. The main dishes and the canapés were all delicious and our guests raved about it constantly, and most people had seconds/thirds etc... We are very grateful to them all, and highly recommend booking them! Thank you!
